So, this morning I had a potentially fun idea, based on that the KickStarter started with three 'raptors (Velociraptor, Atrociraptor and Tsaagan), and you could choose between them (though I grant you could also get all of them 
): Let's treat the Beasts of the Mesozoic 'raptors as pokémon. It'll be fun! It'll also be completely silly.
So, this thread is for a RaptorDex - like a pokédex, but far more senseless.
Q: This is in the projects section - are you going to do things with all the 'raptors?
A: Nope! Well. I might! But this is meant as something we can all do for shits and giggles.
Q: What needs to happen for a 'raptor to be added to the RaptorDex?
A: A few things:
- someone should try to sprite the 'raptor.
- someone needs to give the 'raptor a type or two, as well as (potentially completely made up) abilities.
- someone needs to give the 'raptor some stats and possible breeding info, if you feel like it.
- someone needs to give the 'raptor some moves and what level these are obtained.
- optionally, make the name punny!
For the middle three, a ratio of about 80% pokéstuff and 20% made up here would be great, but don't let me stop you if you want to go wild!
Q: So I need to do all those things for at least one 'raptor if I want to partake?
A: Nah. Feel free to just do parts of it.
Q: Whoah, wait, I can't sprite!

But seriously - don't worry about quality. This is supposed to be fun. As long as it's recognisably the 'raptor you tried spriting - and I use "recognisably" very lightly, in that I expect it to be roughly 'raptorlike and have the same colours as the Beasts of the Mesozoic 'raptor it is trying to portray - it's great for the 'dex! The sillier the better. Proportions need not be maintained. Silly postures welcome!
